Mother Earth Farm, newly relocated off Route 19 near Waynesburg, is delighted to announce the addition of an on-site pottery studio, The Pottery at Mother Earth Farm.
Nestled among the organically grown bedding plants, annuals, herbs, houseplants, perennials, potted vegetable plants, trees and shrubs, The Pottery at Mother Earth Farm provides a variety of beautifully hand-crafted functional pottery for the home – from the garden to the table. All pottery is created on site and visitors are welcomed to visit the studio and enjoy demonstrations.
Resident Potter, Jennifer Adamson is a seasoned potter and instructor of pottery. She has been working in clay for more than a decade and creates one-of-a-kind integrated planters, hanging planters, mugs, plates, platters, crocks, serving bowls and other specialty pieces in a variety of colors and styles. Every piece is unique and lovingly hand-crafted; making them perfect gifts for any occasion.

Adamson’s pottery has been exhibited regionally and she has studied with master potters both nationally and internationally. After studying under Richard Miecznikowski at California University of Pennsylvania, she began her career in clay as a studio resident at Touchstone Center for Crafts. She holds a degree in Interior Design and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Ceramics. Adamson currently teaches childrens’ and adult classes at Wash Arts in Washington, PA (washarts.org) and will begin offering classes at the studio at Mother Earth Farm this fall.
Mother Earth Farm is a natural grower of a variety of naturally grown plants. They also provide trees, shrubs and fruit trees, and natural and organic fertilizers. Mother Earth Farm has been in operation since 2005. They are a no-spray facility and use beneficial insects to control pests on their crops.
Owners, Ethan and Dawn Phillips state, ‘’We’ve found that by having a potter at the greenhouse, customers are able to match the colors of the pottery to their garden colors. Glazed pottery is garden durable and it also adds a unique element to the garden because of its many colors and designs.”
Mother Earth Farm is located at 610 Apple Hill Road in Waynesburg and is open Monday through Saturday 10-6 and Sunday 10-5.

Hi, do you have a list of fruit trees and bushes that you sell, with prices? Mainly interested in blueberry bushes, and apple, crabapple, and sweet cherry trees.
